Friday evening I was invited to a reception at the Toledo Botanical garden and the news of the day was the yellow magnolia. You can tell a garden group was in the room because there were two groups – the one saying ‘Have you seen…’ and the ones nipping out the door to go view the lovely, in bloom, yellow magnolia. I finally got to see the mature tree and took a picture – I don’t know that I have seen many of these and none that were as tall as this one.
