I think some of the new varieties will be more upright, I suspect I was just a little dismayed and so picked the floppiest I could find for the article! Had fortune of visiting Terra Nova trial/show gardens & was amazed at how different their "new" varieties looked in Portland Oregon vs our gardens. His agastaches were very upright - no flopping and a bushier sort of plant - I'm keen to try them here as our weather north of Lake Ontario is sooooo different from Portland Or.
